An auxiliary view is an angle at which one can view an object that is not one of the primary views for an Orthographic projection[1]. An auxiliary view is a view at an angle used to give deeper insight into the actual shape of the object.

This is an example of an auxiliary view next to an orthographic projection. This example image may be incomplete, as the box is missing in the Auxiliary view.
Another example of an auxiliary view (rather than a primary view from an orthographic projection)
