Bokak Atoll (also known as Taongi Atoll) is an uninhabited atoll in the Ratak Chain of the Marshall Islands, located in the North Pacific Ocean at 14°32′N 169°00′E / 14.533, 169. It is located 684 km north of Majuro Atoll, the capital of the Marshall Islands, and 280 km north of Bikar Atoll, the closest atoll, making it the most northerly and most isolated atoll of the country. Wake Island is 560 km NNW of Boka Atoll. The land area is 3.24 km², and the lagoon measures 78.04 km². It consists of 36 islets [1]. A total area of 129 km² (including reef flat) is reported by [2].

The first European to record discovering Bokak was Alonso de Salazar, a Spanish explorer, on August 21, 1526.
