Chickenfoot is a Mozilla Firefox web browser extension which adds scripting ability to web browser. It puts a programming environment in the browser's sidebar so you can write scripts to manipulate web pages and automate web browsing. In Chickenfoot, scripts are written in a superset of Javascript that includes special functions specific to web tasks, designed to help a user easily automate a web task or customize their browsing experience. Chickenfoot extension allows, for example, to automate certain repetitive tasks such as login, filling out forms, or accessing information. Chickenfoot enables users to customize web sites without understanding HTML code. This software is comparable to iMacros. Unique concept of Chickenfoot are keyword patterns that identify parts of a web page based on names close to these parts. The original work on the code started in 2003. Bibliography
