Codes are an indie electronic quartet from Dublin, Ireland consisting of Daragh Anderson, Eoin Stephens, Paul Reilly and Raymond Hogge. The band was formed in mid 2007 and within a couple of months had two singles - "Edith" and "This is Goodbye" - enter the Irish Top 40 at #39 [1] and #32 [2] respectfully. The single "Guided by Ghosts" was released on 10 October, coinciding with a show in The Button Factory, Dublin. [3] The band are working on their debut album with Manic Street Preachers producer, Greg Hayer in Stir Studios, Cardiff. The album is expected to be released in early 2009. [4]

Codes partook in the 2008 IMRO Showcase Tour [5] and followed a July 5 date at The Academy with a performance on the IMRO New Sounds Stage at Oxegen 2008. [6] UK dates followed, including a headline show in London’s 229 on July 23 and the Camden Barfly on July 25.
