The Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) was founded in 1925 to create a standard of success for academic journalism for the United States' high school and universities. The Association is affiliated with Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and is a voluntary membership-based organization.

Awards and Contests: (Most of these award multiple prizes each year: in 2007, there were 42 gold and 83 silver crown awards)[1]
