The Communication University of China, CUC, (Simplified Chinese: 中国传媒大学 pinyin: Zhongguo Chuanmei Daxue) is a university in Beijing, China. It was formerly known as the Beijing Broadcasting Institute, BBI, (北京广播学院, pinyin: bei jing guang bo xue yuan) (or Beijing Broadcasting University) is located in Dingfuzhuang, on Chaoyang Lu just outside of the Eastern 5th Ring Road in Eastern Beijing. It is easily accessible via car or via Beijing subwayBatong line, with the stop "Communication University of China" (中国传媒大学) just next to the university.
Beijing Broadcasting Institute (BBI) was founded in March of 1954.
