Computational Linguistics, published by The MIT Press for the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL), is a leading journal in the field of computational linguistics. The journal is published quarterly, and includes articles, squibs and book reviews. As of 2007, Robert Dale is the Editor-in-Chief. The journal was founded under the name of the American Journal of Computational Linguistics in 1974 by David Hays and was originally published only as microfiche until 1978.
