The institution has approximately 600 undergraduate students, with a student-faculty ratio of about 11 to 1. Concordia offers over 40 areas of study, a set of adult education programs, and a variety of study-abroad activities.
HistoryThe institution was established as Concordia Lutheran Junior College in 1963. It changed its name to Concordia College when it began offering four-year degree programs in 1976, and finally became Concordia University in 2001. Its sports teams are nicknamed the Cardinals, and it offers seven intercollegiate sports with eleven men's and women's teams.
