An exbibyte (a contraction of exa binary byte) is a unit of information or computer storage, abbreviated EiB. The exbibyte is related to the ambiguous exabyte, which officially means 1018 (1,000,000,000,000,000,000) bytes, but is commonly used to mean exbibyte. For related information, see binary prefix.
