Symantec Endpoint Protection is a program by Symantec Corporation for enterprises, formerly known as Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition. Providing managed or standalone security for Servers and Clients, it is aimed at centrally managed corporate environments. It contains features not present in regular consumer retail versions of its Norton Antivirus software and it is designed to be run in Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2003 and Windows Vista/XP/2000 environments. The current version is Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.x, previous versions include Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition 10.x, 9.x, 8.x, and also Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition 7.x. System requirementsWindows 2000 Server/Advanced Server/Datacenter Server/Small Business Server with SP3 or later. Windows XP Professional x64 Edition with SP1 or later.
