Take Command is a command line interpreter for the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems. Its advantages over the regular Command Prompt are analogous to those of 4DOS over the regular Begin with version 9, Tabbed Console Interface and 4NT are merged into the Take Command product line. 4NT was renamed to Take Command Console, whose Lite Edition (TCC/LE) was released as freeware. Take Command/LE includes multiple tab windows features from TCI, configurable toolbars, integrated file explorer interface. Take Command adds built-in batch file editor and debugger, FTP / HTTP file access in commands, network file system access, Active Scripting integration, system monitoring commands, Windows services controls.
