Yug is the pseudo of a largely retired user, admin on wiki-fr and commons, mainly know for his 3 years and thousands edits envolvement to lead, organize, and improve graphic issues on wikipedia. His some futur contributions will be concentrated on map creation for Chinese history article.

Yug created and largely organized the highly successful, innovating, and productive French Atelier Graphique in june 2005, build as a graphic forum where wikipedians may request graphists some images improvement or creation, while graphists may share tips and advices. Simply aware of the need of graphic improvement and uniformisation, he also lead several innovating ideas such as the creation of wikipedian made graphic tutorials, creation of naming conventions, creation of maps conventions (icons, colors, fonts, styles, legend), etc. In 2006, he create Commons locate "Category:Graphic abilities" to prepare the conversion of Commons into a SUPER Graphic lab, and then launched the English Graphic lab as a test.
There, things became too big for a simple admin and he requested official wikimedia's leaders support, help was urgently need for both Global maps convention creation which our best volunteers mapmakers hadn't time to finish, and for the transition to "Commons 2.0". Except some "Good job yug, continue.", no visible support never came.
Accordingly, without support to lead further the image quality improvement and following a Wikimania 2007 "close door policy" incident (I was throw away like a garbage), Yug announced his retirement from all projects creations, adminiship statut, and others wikimedia projects or meta-projects where he deeply involved huge time and leadership abilities, then making only some anonymous contributions.
In real life, out of his Wikipedia involvement and adminship, Yug was an 23 years old student in both Historical studies and Chinese studies, and was a scholarship recipient to study Chinese in Taiwan for 2007-2008. He is now owning a double bachelor degree (History, Chinese), and continue his way to get a Chinese Master degree.

While Yug was mainly a manager, his work on graphic issue was continously supported and improved by various wikipedians and wikigraphists, who, them, really did the graphic works and deserve the best respect.

I plan to draw good maps specificly for Chinese History use. I plan to redraw or draw a first group of a dozen of maps : topographic China (done), physic China (70%), big historical area (90%), 2008's China Hanyupinyin + WadeGiles (+Simp. Chinese), 1900's China, 742's China, 610's China, 2008's Chinese population density, Chinese rainfalls, Chinese 2005 HDI by province, plus some other not yet chosen.
