Mrs Claus

Heya, a word of advice: Stuff like Mrs. Claus doesn't need to go through vfd. Just put a {{del}} or a {{db|Deletion reason here}} on it and it'll get speedy deleted without all the hassle of a VfD. --fvw* 17:01, 2004 Nov 27 (UTC)

Fixing duplicate words

Hi, I notice you've been fixing up a bunch of articles with duplicate words. I assume you've been finding these from User:R3m0t/Reports? If so, please could you remove the entries from the lists when you've done them? I've just tried to fix quite a few entries from User:R3m0t/Reports/and only to find they've already been done! Which is great, but if you could mark them off as done it would save others wasting time looking for the errors... thanks! munt fish 12:06, 2005 Feb 9 (UTC)

Re:1000 edits

According to the standards for Adminship, a user must have made at least 1000 edits. Each time you click the 'save page' bar at the bottom of the edit window counts as an edit. When you have clicked that bar 1000 times, you meet one standard of qualification for adminship. 06:49, 2005 Feb 13 (UTC)

New policy

A policy idea, called Wikipedia:Requests for de-adminship, has recently been proposed. The straw poll shows that people are against it 2-to-1, but it has come under fire because most of those polled in the oppose section are admins. Care to vote? 19:30, 2005 Mar 25 (UTC)

Curonian language reference?

I have read for years that Curonian was not only long-extinct, but poorly attested. Is there any reference you could add to the article about the surviving community you have mentioned? --Theodore Kloba 14:57, August 3, 2005 (UTC) Sorry, wrong user talk. --Theodore Kloba 20:59, August 3, 2005 (UTC)

RfA thank you

Bart133, I wish to say thanks for your support in my successful request for adminship, which ended with 82 supports, 3 opposes, and 1 neutral. I will do my best to live up to your expectations. I would especially like to thank Rlevse for nominating me and Wizardman for co-nominating me.

Spider-man's grand daughter's name in the Old Man Logan Storyline is Spider-bitch, not Spider-girl. Continuing to post it as Spider-girl is giving false information. Read the series, or I'll scan it and post the scanned pages. It's not vandalism, because I'm correcting it. I don't like the name any more than you may, but we don't have the right to censor it. We didn't name the charecter.

Here's a quote from an interview with the writer referencing the charecter.

NRAMA: Who else will we be seeing in this story?

MM: Only a few Marvel Heroes are still alive and the story mainly focuses on their descendants. There's a new Kingpin for example and Spiderman's granddaughter, Spider-bitch, is a favorite but the characters I'm most excited about are the radiation sick sons and grandsons of the Hulk - and inbred, ugly, incestuous team of supervillains with a nod to The Hills Have Eyes.
