Welcome

Welcome to my discussion page. I would be glad to open or continue a discussion with you. Just start a new heading. I will not repeat here what I may have said on your discussion page in response. For various reasons I will delete your responses after they seem no longer relevant.

Thank you and happy editing. Dave 02:03, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Campaign ribbons

Updated DYK query On July 25, 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Prunus mahaleb, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.
The Working Wikipedian's Barnstar
Amidst the tremendous amount of drivel and fluff afflicting Celtic and Gaulish studies like a cancer – particularly on the internet – I was charmed and delighted to read Wikipedia's article on the Vangiones, to which you have contributed so much. Your clear presentation and solid, meticulous approach to the sources does great honour to Wikipedia. Bravo! Q·L·1968 14:48, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

The Barnstar of WPGreece

For your contributions to WP:GREECE and particularly to the Battle of Thermopylae, I award you this barnstar. Keep up the good work () 14:02, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

Etruscans taskforce

I'm looking into creating a taskforce to improve the quality of articles relating to the Etruscan civilization. Since I've seen your name in several Etruscan related article histories I thought you might be interested in joining. Best wishes/ Pax:Vobiscum (talk) 00:19, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Scrolling boxes

FYI, Wikipedia:CITE#Scrolling_lists, I removed the box from Johnson. Sandy (Talk) 01:41, 19 July 2008 (UTC) OK I got your reasons - too bad, it works fine on mine. Can't have everything I guess.Dave (talk) 02:58, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Roman Empire

Don't tell us to change anything on the article when your not doing anything easier.--Jakezing (talk) 16:00, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Actually i talked to a military person and he said that SAc would be a target.--Jakezing (talk) 03:23, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
Those Tanks to overrun Europe were made useless in 1945, The Soviets Realized that. --Jakezing (talk) 04:06, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
Right. I'm sure no major powers want any more war so I think we are safer from it. The problem is containing the fanatics from spreading their erroneous doctrine of hate and intolerance. Well I have a busy schedule now and I want to work on articles too so I can live up to my message that drew me to your attention. Best wishes.Dave (talk) 10:21, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Pytheas#Discovery of Britain

You have done a fantastic job improving the article. I have added the map of wonky Scotland; but, while it is fascinating, I do not wish to break up the flow of your editorial style. The point is, if you add more to the article feel free to adjust/amend/delete as you see fit. Lucian Sunday (talk) 18:53, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

I haven't read the while thing for the last 2 weeks or so. Generally when I do see an edit it looks very good, but I'm a bit concerned about this one [1] which looks like OR. Can you find a source for it? Any use of the word implies or other forms of it really requires a good source. Doug Weller (talk) 14:57, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
