Admin recall of Ryulong

Hello, I have noticed that you were involved in an admin recall for the user "Ryulong". He has since had a request for another and mine new one is the third. I am initiating a new one because of WP:BITE during a problem with WP:NAC as can be viewed here and here. The entire issue can be viewed here. If you would like to be involved in this discussion, it can be viewed on Ryulong's talk page User talk:Ryulong. If not, thank you anyway. Regards Fr33kman 23:57, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Policy Changes

Didn't mean to exclude anything, or to officially set the ballot - I just copy-pasted what was at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee Elections December 2008/Policy Changes. My example was intended only as a proof-of-concept to show how a vote on some of these proposals would look in the context of the election itself. Is there a different page I should be looking at? Tsvangirai

He's not yet PM, right? Why do his article and a number of other articles claim he is, then? Any idea? —Nightstallion 18:58, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

I was about to ask the same thing. Therequiembellishere (talk) 19:27, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Yiddish Renaissance

I'm sure you are familiar with WP:BAN#Editing on behalf of banned users, and I'm sure you know that User:Herschelkrustofsky is banned. Can you explain why you decided to contest the PROD on Yiddish Renaissance? ·:· Will Beback ·:· 22:44, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

I added the PROD because it has no sources and is a view only held by a fringe movement. How did you learn of the article? ·:· Will Beback ·:· 23:12, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
You are confusing PROD with CSD. There is no threshold for PROD, any article may be prodded. Since the article is unsourced, another alternative is to blank and redirect it. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 23:33, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
I searched and could not find any reliable sources on the topic. What sources did you find? ·:· Will Beback ·:· 23:40, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Good work. Feel free to add information based on those books. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 23:46, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
The article was unsourced. If you are willing to read the sources and write an article based upon them then that'd be great. The old article was derived from an unreliable source and that text should not be resurrected unless it is sourced to reliable sources. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 00:00, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
The title now redirects to Yiddish literature, and there is plenty of material covering oretty much the same topic. Perhaps a short section there would be best. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 00:17, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

Félix Houphouët-Boigny

Durova suggested that I contact you regarding the fact checking that we are doing for Félix Houphouët-Boigny. We need to check a bunch of French sources to make sure that the information in the article matches the sources, but we are short on French speakers. She seemed to think you might be able to help or know people who could. We would really appreciate it! Awadewit (talk) 18:25, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Peruvian PM

Isn't Simon already in office, as it seems he only needed to be appointed, not confirmed in parliament, to take the office (per BBC News)? —Nightstallion 21:05, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Paranoid Android

Hi there! User:Giggy, User:Papa November, User:WesleyDodds, and I have been working on the "Paranoid Android" article and intend on getting it promoted to FA status in the near future. As you are a frequent editor to the Radiohead article, any additions you may have to contribute to the article would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! --Brandt Luke Zorn (talk) 02:09, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Essjay

James, why did you opposed the RfB of Essjay?[1] You said you come to strongly dislike Essjay. Why? I'm from Kathmandu. 124.41.230.37 (talk) 17:12, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

I know everything about Essjay. We live in one planet, brother! :) 124.41.230.37 (talk) 17:39, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
I'm asking the question because you opposed him before he was exposed. Your judgment is quite remarkable. 124.41.230.37 (talk) 17:48, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
You are right - Essay was not interested in building this encyclopedia. He has only about 1300 mainspace edits. He was just interested in power game. But, that's the problem with Wikipedia. Many people have reach at the top of Wikipedia without much article work. 124.41.230.37 (talk) 18:00, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
By the way, I respect your article work, and hopefully your RfA 5 will be successful. Cheers! 124.41.230.37 (talk) 18:06, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

I don't know why I recieved a warning from you. 65.41.94.227 (talk) 00:19, 28 October 2008 (UTC) I did no such thing, are you sure you know what you're talking about? 65.41.94.227 (talk) 00:23, 28 October 2008 (UTC) Weird, I don't usually edit wikipedia articles. I just thought the warning message was weird, but I've never seen that post.65.41.94.227 (talk) 00:29, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Glitch

Hello. I am a somewhat former user of Wikipedia, and I have found a glitch. Whenever I start a new line and put a space in front of the text, this happens:

See?

Is this a glitch or a function?

PS. Please reply on my talk page.

Stubbing

Just wanted to let you know that instead of stubbing articles using "country"-bio-stub, you could use "country"-politician-stub instead. It exists for every country, I've been told.

Happy editing! --User:AlbertHerring Io son l'orecchio e tu la bocca: parla! 06:06, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
