Re Edinburgh Zoo, I wish you good luck with the GAC. I didn't want to interfere in the process, but if I were reviewing it I'd want there to be more consistency in the capitalisation of species names. Unfortunately WP:MOS seems unable to agree what to do on this front. At Fauna of Scotland I decided to use:

lower case for aspecific names (mouse, dog, lion)
full capitals for species per Wikipedia:WikiProject Birds (St Kilda Field Mouse, Asiatic Lion)

Speedy deletion of Template:British zoos

A tag has been placed on Template:British zoos requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Fair use rationale for Image:Scaledcomposites.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Scaledcomposites.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Malinaccier's wrong, they can be deleted. It's just that putting db-tags on them doesn't show up in CAT:CSD, so you have to ask an administrator yourself. However, blanking them has the same effect as deleting them, and is usually easier. Hope that helps! --ais523 16:50, 24 April 2008 (U T C)

The Mediation discussion regarding the inclusion of the EU in List of countries by GDP (nominal) has come to a conclusion with the following result:

The EU to remain in List of countries by GDP (nominal).
The EU to be positioned according to GDP rank between World and USA.
No consensus on the EU appearing in all three charts. By convention this means the situation would remain as current - that is the EU remains on all three charts.
Data for the EU on each chart to only be given if sourced, otherwise a dash to replace the data.
Explanation to be placed in the lead section for the appearance of the EU and other non-countries. Possible wording: "Several economies which are not ~~normally~~ considered to be countries are included in the list because they appear in the sources. These economies are not ranked in the charts here, but are listed in sequence by GDP for comparison."
The List retains the current name.
A suggestion by Tomeasy that I feel should be carried out is that the sister articles are given the same treatment as agreed above.

List of private spaceflight companies

Hi Jrockley. You did a lot of good work on the List of private spaceflight companies article in August 2007. The tables you added, which I think added a lot of good info, are not sourced. But then I realized this is a LIST article so most WP editors are probably not thinking about citations for a LIST article. OTOH, if they don't get citations, I would expect a lot of your good work may get pulled out of the article pretty soon. So maybe you should just create a new article to hold all the tables, one that is not titled "List of ...". Alternatively, can you provide source citations for your work? Thanks.
