ChinarismActually I would like to have the article back. Maybe this article was one of the most detailed about this new movement. You cannot find useful information about Chinarism other places. (Xizilbash (talk) 22:36, 20 August 2008 (UTC)) User talk:Cookie8191I still have RPP on my watchlist, and I saw this userpage come up. For what it's worth, this is most likely a sock, Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Cookie81927. Yngvarr (t) (c) 00:05, 21 August 2008 (UTC) Ancient Olympic GamesWould you be able to re-semi-protect the page? Apologies for my rampant slaughter of the English language there. Vandalism has continued now the SP has expired; I have no idea why odd IP's choose that article to attack. Ironholds 00:55, 21 August 2008 (UTC) DYK updateHi PeterSymonds, are you online? I've finished setting up the next update, and I believe it is ready to be updated, but I can't have access to T:DYK since I'm not an administrator. If your online, can you take care of the update please? But before you do that, the balance is slightly loose as the "On this day" section has more white space. Could you help fix that? Thanks, and I hope your online, () 01:36, 21 August 2008 (UTC) Page protection removalsYou might want to rethink these. Every single one has been re-vandalized. And moved, for the ones where you took off the move protection. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:59, 21 August 2008 (UTC) You'll be missedPlease return someday :( We're losing a fantastic admin here... good luck in university and beyond, Peter. 22:09, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

Welcome back from me too, Peter. I was very sorry to see we'd lost you and it's good to see it wasn't for long. Happy editing! Olaf Davis | Talk 17:42, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Welcome back, missed you. — Realist2 17:28, 23 October 2008 (UTC) Help DeskI have another question...Help Desk 17:13, 30 September 2008 (UTC) Hi, thank you so much for respondingCan you please tell me which reference I should look at. Be advised I only learned how to make footnotes 2 days ago. I am not, in the least bit, a sophisticated user. Best regards. How long should I wait before enquiring?Heya Peter, I self-nom'd a DYK for a new article (I'm a PC) under November 30th, and it appears that most of the others under that day have been evaluated. how long should I wait before asking about it? - Arcayne (cast a spell) 14:36, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
Reclaimed water section and picture removedHey, Peter. The section "Possible problems in irrigation" has been removed as well as the "Kirby Bauer Disk Diffusion Test" photograph. Please tell me who removed it, and why that was done. Thanks, ```` —Preceding unsigned comment added by Notindustry (talk • contribs) 13:03, 5 October 2008 (UTC) Re: The Queen's JewelsThanks Peter, it's nice to know somebody other than myself is interested in the collection! There really is a shockingly low amount of interest for the collection, as is evident by the amazingly low amount of online sources. It's mainly sources I need now, for it to pass as a GA. The reviewer recommended looking for some newspaper articles but I can't seem to find many! ;) All the best, --Cameron* 14:20, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
RFPPGood to see you back :-) | 19:33, 18 October 2008 (UTC) QuestionPeter, the user from IP address 71.160.176.166 that added our company to the possible list of "spammers" page you reverted yesterday is simply someone who is upset that we posted a message about our company and its offerings in one of her chat groups. As a company, we don't send out E-mail and therefore don't spam. She's just a bitter homeschool mom. So, I wish you wouldn't revert references to our company spamming people. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Readinghelp (talk • contribs) 10:16, 21 October 2008
WTFHi, The bswa stuff on this article is completely irrelevent to the deceaced john lorber. Half the article is about ajahn brahm and his wrong use of one of lorbers theories. Disgraceful. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.233.34.227 (talk) 09:44, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
BrothersGah we are wiki-sig brothers now () 18:45, 22 October 2008 (UTC) Time for resolutionHiya. For several months now, the article naming for 18th Century British royals has been ever-which-where — all over the shop. In an attempt to solve this, I have prepared a page for discussion: here. Please, please, please come and discuss, even contribute to the Poll. Cheers! First, no external sources other than the site was mentioned yet a simple search reveals noteworthy mention in the NY Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2006/02/05/magazine/05wwln_consumed.html), Post Gazette (http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/06207/708718-96.stm) and CNet News (http://news.cnet.com/8301-13772_3-9889191-52.html). User base was also mentioned yet the site has over 300k accounts and gets over 3 million page views a month. Also, similar companies were listed as examples of deletion yet their articles are still kept as valid Cyberathlete Amateur League and GotFrag. Thank you, Thunberg —Preceding undated comment was added at 02:29, 25 October 2008 (UTC).
RfAHi Peter Symonds! Thank you very much for your support and comments in the RfA. It passed today, and your comments were much appreciated. I will do my best to learn the technical side of the tools as quickly as possible, and will indeed implement them with caution until I'm fully familiar with how they work. On hold - sunderlandSorry peter... I haven't got the GA on hold template to work... it is. User:Itfc+canes=me 17:43, 1 November 2008 (UTC) DYK?Why did you add a DYK tag to my talk page, then take it away? The edit summary wasn't very illuminating. Sabine's Sunbird talk 21:37, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
RfA thanksThe source for an imageHi Peter, might you remember the source for Image:VictoriaPrincessRoyal.jpg? From which book or publication was it scanned? Thank you. Jappalang (talk) 09:25, 6 November 2008 (UTC) Anne of ŚwidnicaI would like to mention that the oryginal name of the article was Anne of Świdnica which has almost 3 times as much results on Google (on English pages only) than the German one. Anna of Swidnica is really not the main proposition of mine in this dispute. See for yourself: |
