Notability of Cooper's Retail BlogA tag has been placed on Cooper's Retail Blog requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article. If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Ecoleetage (talk) 09:53, 20 June 2008 (UTC) Mangalore FACWell, I think Mangalore is ready for a FAC. This Article incorporates enough data on the city. Why not give it a try at FAC. We can work on the issues found during the review. Even if the article fails at FAC, we can renominate it later. Your participation is required at the FAC since you have been an editor of this page from a long time. The FAC is at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates#Mangalore. Hope to see you there, Kensplanet (talk) 06:42, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Thank YouThank you for your kind words. You have done a very good job copyediting the article. You deserve a Barnstar for this and you'll receive it. This may take time since as I have to create it. Keep up the good work. 12:16, 25 July 2008 (UTC) Please Vote!!!Actually 2 sites(World Gazetteer and Mangalorean.com) have been called for a review by a reviewer right at the bottom of the FAC. Surprise!!!
Regarding your observation posted on the Indica page"I have noticed that most of the Indicas' here in Mangalore have only one reverse bulb installed in the two reverse light holders. The dealer here mentioned that it comes only with one bulb." the 2004-2006 indica ( the one with the arch shaped brake lamps) had a reverse light in one side, and fog lamp in the other side. the fog lamp was functional only in the higher end models (DLX etc).In the Lower end models, you could insert a bulb and hook up the wiring , and both sides would work. This was because in some export markets , a fog lamp was mandatory, and since there was no room to add an additional bulb in the cluster, this was done as a workaround. 2007 and later model indicas( with a different style taillamp cluster) come with fully functional reverse bulbs on either side I hope this clarifies your doubts :)Kickassso (talk) 05:53, 18 September 2008 (UTC) I got this info from an indian auto forum I'm a member of. http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/technical-stuff/42917-rear-foglamp-indicas.html |
