Godilla: Monster War

Isn't the title of this article a typo - shouldn't it be Godzilla: Monster War? If it is a typo my redirect was entirely appropriate and should not be reverted. – ukexpat (talk) 20:26, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply - the whole point of a redirect is that it is automatic. I have reverted the page back to the articles|one of these admins]] to request that a copy be emailed to you.}} Booglamay (talk) 23:02, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

You can join by adding your name here. In looking over your contributions, you may also be interested in our adoption program. Thank you for creating the article for Devo Keenan. An open task for the project now is to expand it and take it to Did You Know? We only have five days from creation to do this, so hopefully everyone will get together and make this happen. Welcome to Wikipedia and Wikiproject Tool. LaraLove 03:50, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

Quick note about the external link you're adding to Tool-related articles: The first problem is that the link doesn't appear to be working. Also, linking to a foreign site, isn't necessary. That section is reserved mostly for official websites, reviews and interviews. Please see Wikipedia:External links. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, LaraLove 18:46, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

adoptation

Hi. I'm not very active right now on editing, but I'm online most of the time and know my way a little bit around these parts. I see you have done a fair amount off edits and seem to be learning a few things on your way. If there are still any issues, feel free to contact me or add me on msn. --Steinninn 06:14, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Your recent image uploads

I've had to remove them all from article space. Please see WP:NFCC, specifically points 3a, 3b and 8. Fair use images should be limited to as few as possible in each article, and we already have the covers for each album included in the infoboxes. Fair use images should also be of low resolution, but all of the images you uploaded were of a high resolution. Lastly, fair use images should only be used when they add significantly to the readers understanding of the topic and when such removal would be a detriment. In these cases, the images are not necessary. Please don't be discouraged, but we have strict policies on image use here. Let me know if you have any questions. LaraLove 03:59, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Me 01.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Me 01.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:21, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

May 2008

Thank you for your contribution to The Undertaker, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember, millions of people read Wikipedia, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox to get started. Thank you. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 01:40, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm assuming good faith here, did you add that because of the song title in that album? 01:51, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Actually, I should apologize, as I thought you were having "fun" with adding that to the article, as I saw what you were talking about. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 02:05, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Image:Puscifer_Logo.jpg

I have tagged Image:Puscifer_Logo.jpg as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again. License tagging for Image:InnerPartySystem - The Download EP.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:InnerPartySystem - The Download EP.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:11, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Danny Carey was the Collaboration of the Month (for a couple months) but that didn't really go anywhere. Pomte made a good point here that I didn't see until just now.
So, the current CotM is Lateralus. I hope everyone can get motivated to contribute to this article; striving for GA, maybe even FA. If you need some inspiration, go listen to the album! :D Thanks everyone. And welcome to our new members!

Wikimedia Commons

Thank you for uploading images/media to Wikipedia! There is, however, another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In the future, please consider creating an account and uploading your media there instead. That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view images you have previously uploaded by going to your user contributions on the left and choosing the 'image' namespace from the drop down box). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading!--OsamaK 07:27, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Typo redirect DHK

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on DHK, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because DHK is a redirect page resulting from an implausible typo (CSD R3).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting DHK, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 12:10, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

Re:Cheers :)

Thanks. Yeah, I've started getting into the whole editing thing back in June and just kind of can't stop now. Probably a bad thing as University has started up again. Oh well. My hope is to get the APC article up to GA status and then move on to the other articles at the Tool project page. Will take some work, but eh.... I'd rather do that than homework. :) - Yohhans (talk) 02:26, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

I usually edit where I see something needs to be done, but I'll generally only put real effort into an article if I'm interested in it. I really like A Perfect Circle, but that's only because of my huge interest in Tool. As Tool is already an FA, I thought I'd start working on the other articles covered by the Tool project and I figured APC was a good candidate. Lateralus is next on my list since that's already been worked on some. Might as well start with the easy stuff right? O:-) - Yohhans (talk) 21:02, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I've listened to Puscifer. I like a lot of the CD, but some of the songs I could care less about (e.g. Cunty Boner). Rev. 22:20 (any version, Dry Martini mix, Underworld, 4:20) is my favorite of the songs. Indigo Children and Vagina Mine are also fantastic. - Yohhans (talk) 21:16, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Please no chem pics

You can see that your images are being reverted. The standard in Wiki-chem is high. If you have questions, please post them to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Chemistry. Thanks,--Smokefoot (talk) 16:59, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
