Wavelength (1983) is a low-budget, independent science fiction film written and directed by Mike Gray and starring Robert Carradine, Cherie Currie, and Keenan Wynn. The story involves a young couple who discover child-like aliens being held by the U.S. government for experimentation in an underground bunker.
