To understand Wikipedia, it is easiest to think of this website as having two types of pages: pages that are part of the encyclopedia itself, and pages of the community (used by contributors to help build and operate the encyclopedia). When creating articles on forums, fansites, or other webpages, remember that Wikipedia has three notability requirements for these types of articles. These requirements are: 1. The content itself has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the site itself. 2. The website or content has won a well known and independent award. 3. The content is distributed via a site which is both well known and independent of the creators.
