William Edmond Armitage (September 6, 1830-December 7, 1873) was a clergyman of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America. He graduated from Columbia University in 1849 and the General Theological Seminary in 1852. Armitage served in parishes in New Hampshire and Maine before St John's Church, Detroit, Michigan.

Armitage was ordained in St John's Church, Detroit on December 6, 1866. He was Assistant Bishop to Jackson Kemper (1866-1870) and second Bishop of Wisconsin (1870-1873). Armitage is buried in Detroit, Michigan.
