It allows the user to create and organize handwritten notes and drawings. One can simply use an ordinary computer mouse to compose a handwritten note, though the use of a graphics tablet or a Tablet PC is recommended.
Windows Journal Viewer is an application, created by Microsoft, that allows for the viewing of files created in Windows Journal on systems without the software. The current version is 1.5 and is available for Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003.
