Zachery Tyler Bryan (October 9, 1981) is an American actor known for his role as Brad Taylor on the American sitcom Home Improvement.
Personal lifeBryan was born in Aurora, Colorado, the son of Jenny, a talent manager, and Dwight Bryan, a vice president of a pipeline company.[1] His second cousin is Cleveland Browns quarterback Brady Quinn.[2] His second cousin Laura, Brady's sister, is married to Green Bay Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk. He has a younger sister named Ciri. Bryan married Carly Matros in 2007. Career
Before he starred in Home Improvement, he started in Denver with print and television advertising. His interest in acting soon brought him to California, where he received the role of Brad, the oldest Taylor son, in the show Home Improvement. His character was known for experimenting with different hair styles as well as being the son most often in trouble. After Home Improvement ended, Bryan made brief appearances in many other television shows, including The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Veronica Mars, and Shark. He also appeared on Smallville where he played Eric Marsh, a high school baseball player using steroids made from meteor rock. He was the second Home Improvement alum to make a guest appearance on the show. In 2005, Bryan appeared as Bryan Nolan in ESPN's TV movie Code Breakers. He also appeared as a young man hiring a hitman to kill his stepmother on the show Burn Notice. Bryan's film roles include the lead in the Sinbad comedy First Kid as well as appearances in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift as Clay and as Eric in The Rage: Carrie 2. He and his wife are working on a documentary with ESPN. References
